What is the layout of Yavanna?

Yavanna is not a conventional house. There is one house with 3 ensuite bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and laundry.  All rooms open to the outdoors. The other two ensuite bedrooms are separate (20 meters away). There is a second house 20 meters away with another three bedrooms. Yavanna has been designed for open, outdoor living. The swimming pool is at the other end of the garden, about 2 or 3 minutes walk away.

Is Yavanna suitable for the disabled?

All the paths around Yavanna are cobbled, so it is difficult to walk with a walking stick. A wheelchair is impossible. It is quite a long walk from the car park to the house for disabled people. Can I bring my children on courses and workshops?

We find that the courses and workshops work better as adult-only. You are very welcome to bring your children if you rent Yavanna though.

Can I bring a partner or friend with me who wants to enjoy the accommodation, food and tranquil surroundings, but not participate in the courses and workshops?

Yes - no problem at all.

How far is it from the airport?

About an hour door-to-door from Porto's new international airport, or half an hour from Vigo in Spain.

If I can get a cheap flight to Lisbon, how do I get from there to Yavanna?

Hire a car from any of the major providers, and the drive is about 4 hours, or longer if you take the more leisurely, but beautiful, coastal route.
